Recording & replay

Every session is already its own recording

Nothing starts recording and nothing stops it. The streams that carried the live call are the recording, available the moment the call ends.

Recording & replay

  • Instant replay

No processing queue and no recording.ready delay you have to design around. Replay reads the same streams the call wrote.

  • Windowed playback

Read any time range of a session, from any point. Seek without downloading everything before it.

  • Layouts at playback time

Tracks are stored separately with an event timeline. @synento/player composes grid, presenter or active-speaker views when you play back.

  • MP4 export

Export a session as an MP4 file with a job API, and get an export.completed webhook when it's ready.

  • Expiring replay links

Share a replay with a link that expires, and control session visibility per session.

  • Retention you control

Set retention per project, up to 30 days on Free and 90 on Pro. Deleting a session deletes its streams, and one call redacts a single participant.

# Did media really arrive? Ask the recording.
